Its better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all
Having had to go to a funeral yesterday I feel this is a quote that can at least put a tiny amount of perspective in a very sad and traumatic time in ones life.
For as long as I can remember I always dreamt of having a pretty pink cottage with the old inglenook fireplace and the warm cosy Arga overlooking countryside and near a river or the sea. Well, after 23 years of marriage and a lot of make do and mend my dream has finally come true. This is my journey...of renovating the cottage using homespun Traditional Cottage crafts coupled with Recycling and Vintage Junk Shop finds.
